Our experienced data technicians apply years of experience and subject matter expertise to analyze every job, ensuring accurate data results.
Processing drone data requires really powerful, specialized computers. And even with this specialized hardware, the data processing will eat up 100% of that computer’s processing capability for hours at the minimum, and days for bigger projects. We have seen people who think they can process drone data in the background of their computer, only to realize that there simply isn’t enough processing power for everything they want to do, either delaying critical CAD and GIS work, or the drone data processing itself. As usual, this means more time delays, and costs more money.
Also, processing takes a lot of time from skilled employees. It can take hours of working with a project to get the final accuracy numbers right, even with a lot of computing resources. That is time that could be spent on other valuable client deliverables.

RAW FILES
Our raw files are designed for customers utilizing GIS , Autodesk, and other computer mapping products. Files can be exported in any coordinate system and are spatially accurate. We can help you extract data from these files or prepare a customized report for you.
Orthoimages
Essentially a high resolution satellite image. It’s geo-referenced, spatially accurate, and up to date. Orthoimages can be overlaid with design blueprints to compare planned vs. actual progress. These maps can be easily updated daily, weekly, or monthly to document project progression and connect field operators with office personnel.
Digital Elevation Models
DEM stands for Digital Elevation Model. There are two types of DEMs, Digital Surface Models (DSM) which is a geospatial representation of surface elevations and Digital Terrain Models (DTM) which is a representation of the topography. These files can be used to calculate volumes, create contours, monitor erosion, and confirm as-builts.
3D Point Cloud
LAS Point Cloud files consist of millions of individual data points on an XYZ axis. These points create a virtual 3D model of the surface. This process has become known as “reality capture” the digitization of physical assets. The models can be used to compare surfaces, generate precision as-builts, and extract geospatial data.
